Materials you'll need:
* Music horn
* Mouthpiece
* Valve oil
* Slide grease
* Tuning slide

Step 1: Unpack the horn.
Carefully unpack your horn from its case. Be sure to handle it with care, as brass instruments can be easily damaged.

Take the mouthpiece and insert it into the leadpipe of the horn. Be sure to insert it all the way, but don't force it.
Step 3: Apply valve oil.
Before you assemble the valves, it's important to apply valve oil to the valve casings. This will help to keep the valves moving smoothly and prevent them from getting stuck.
Step 4: Assemble the valves.
Take the valves and insert them into the valve casings. Be sure to insert them in the correct order, as each valve has a specific function.
Step 5: Apply slide grease.
Before you insert the tuning slide, it's important to apply slide grease to the slide tubes. This will help to keep the slide moving smoothly and prevent it from getting stuck.
Step 6: Insert the tuning slide.
Take the tuning slide and insert it into the slide receiver. Be sure to insert it all the way, but don't force it.
Step 7: Tighten the tuning slide lock.
Once the tuning slide is in place, tighten the tuning slide lock to secure it.
Step 8: Insert the cleaning rod.
Take the cleaning rod and insert it into the leadpipe of the horn. Be sure to insert it all the way, but don't force it.
Step 9: Clean the horn.
Use the cleaning rod to clean the inside of the horn. Be sure to remove all of the dirt and debris.
Step 10: Remove the cleaning rod.
Once the horn is clean, remove the cleaning rod.
Step 11: Put on gloves (optional).
If you want to protect your hands from getting dirty, you can put on gloves before you handle the horn.
Step 12: Hold the horn.
Hold the horn in your left hand, with your left thumb on the top valve button. Your right hand should be holding the mouthpiece.
Step 13: Blow into the mouthpiece.
Blow into the mouthpiece and press down on the top valve button. You should hear a sound coming from the horn.
Step 14: Play.
Now you're ready to play your horn! Experiment with different fingerings to produce different notes.Congratulations! You've now successfully assembled your music horn.
