Administrator Privileges Installation Guide with Pictures310

Many software programs require administrator privileges to install or run. This is because these programs need to make changes to system files or settings that are normally restricted to administrators. If you try to install or run a program that requires administrator privileges without being an administrator, you will likely see an error message.

There are two ways to install a program with administrator privileges:Use a built-in administrator account. Most Windows computers have a built-in administrator account that you can use to install programs. To use this account, you will need to know the administrator password.
Create a new administrator account. If you do not know the administrator password, you can create a new administrator account. To do this, follow these steps:
Open the Control Panel.
Click on User Accounts.
Click on Manage User Accounts.
Click on Add a new user.
Enter a user name and password for the new account.
Select the Administrator radio button.
Click on the Create button.

Once you have created a new administrator account, you can use it to install programs by following these steps:Log in to the new administrator account.
Run the program's installation file.
Click on the Install button.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

If you are not comfortable using a built-in administrator account or creating a new one, you can also use a third-party tool to install programs with administrator privileges. One popular tool is called "RunAsTool." To use RunAsTool, follow these steps:Download RunAsTool from the internet.
Install RunAsTool.
Run RunAsTool.
Click on the Browse button and select the program's installation file.
Click on the Run button.
Enter the administrator password.
Click on the OK button.

RunAsTool will now launch the program's installation wizard. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Here are some additional tips for installing programs with administrator privileges:If you are prompted to allow the program to make changes to your computer, click on the Yes button.
If you are having problems installing a program with administrator privileges, you can try restarting your computer and then trying again.
If you are still having problems, you can contact the program's support team for help.
