Lesson Objective:

Procedure:
1. Introduction (5 minutes)
* Begin by asking students what they know about mental health.
* Explain that mental health is just as important as physical health.
* Discuss the common misconception that mental health issues are not real or are not a big deal.
2. Signs and Symptoms of Mental Health Disorders (15 minutes)
* Divide the class into small groups.
* Assign each group a different mental health disorder (e.g., anxiety, depression, eating disorders, ADHD).
* Have the groups research the signs and symptoms of their assigned disorder.
* After 10 minutes, have each group present their findings to the class.
3. Seeking Help for Mental Health Concerns (10 minutes)
* Discuss the importance of seeking help if you are experiencing mental health issues.
* Explain that there are many different ways to get help, such as talking to a counselor, doctor, or trusted adult.
* Provide students with a list of resources for mental health support.
4. Role-Playing (10 minutes)
