Materials you'll need:- A 10-inch wide and 8-foot long piece of PVC pipe
- A 10-inch wide and 6-foot long piece of PVC pipe
- A 10-inch wide and 4-foot long piece of PVC pipe
- Two 10-inch wide end caps
- A 10-inch wide Tee fitting
- A 10-inch wide 90-degree elbow
- A 10-inch wide straight coupling
- A 10-inch wide bulkhead fitting
- A 1/2-inch drill bit
- A saw
- A measuring tape
- A marker
- PVC glue
- A submersible pump
- A reservoir
- Nutrient solution

Instructions:1. Cut the 8-foot long piece of PVC pipe in half to create two 4-foot long pieces. These will be the sides of the NFT channel.
2. Cut a 10-inch wide hole in the center of one end of each side piece. This is where the bulkhead fitting will go.
3. Glue the end caps onto the ends of the side pieces.
4. Glue the Tee fitting onto one end of the 6-foot long piece of PVC pipe. This will be the inlet for the nutrient solution.
5. Glue the 90-degree elbow onto the other end of the 6-foot long piece of PVC pipe. This will be the outlet for the nutrient solution.
6. Glue the straight coupling onto the center of the 4-foot long piece of PVC pipe. This will be where the bulkhead fitting will go.
7. Glue the bulkhead fitting into the holes in the side pieces and the straight coupling.
8. Drill a 1/2-inch hole in the bottom of the NFT channel, about 2 inches from the end. This hole will allow the nutrient solution to drain back into the reservoir.
9. Place the NFT channel on a level surface and connect the inlet and outlet pipes to the reservoir.
10. Fill the reservoir with nutrient solution and turn on the pump.
11. Start your plants in seed starting trays and transplant them into the NFT channel once they have developed a few sets of true leaves.

Tips:- Use a nutrient solution that is specifically designed for NFT systems.
- Check the pH and nutrient levels of the nutrient solution regularly and adjust as needed.
- Keep the NFT channel clean and free of debris.
- Monitor the water level in the reservoir and refill as needed.
