Goals:
To help children understand the importance of mental health.

Procedure:
1. Introduction (5 minutes)
Begin by asking children what they know about mental health. Explain that mental health is just as important as physical health. It is how we think, feel, and behave.
Tell children that everyone experiences stress from time to time. Stress is a normal reaction to challenging situations. However, too much stress can be harmful to our mental health.
2. Identifying Stress (10 minutes)
Help children identify common stressors in their lives, such as schoolwork, friendships, and family problems.
Explain that stress can manifest itself in different ways, such as feeling anxious, irritable, or overwhelmed.
3. Coping with Stress (15 minutes)
Teach children healthy ways to cope with stress, such as:

Practicing relaxation techniques (e.g., deep breathing, meditation)
Encourage children to practice these coping mechanisms whenever they feel stressed.
4. Resources for Mental Health Support (5 minutes)

Encourage children to reach out for help if they are struggling with their mental health.
5. Closure (5 minutes)
Review the main points of the lesson.
Remind children that mental health is important and that they should not be afraid to seek help if they need it.
