In this tutorial, we will learn the basics of Spanish reading. We will cover the alphabet, pronunciation, and basic grammar rules. By the end of this tutorial, you should be able to read simple Spanish sentences.
The Alphabet
The Spanish alphabet has 27 letters, 5 of which are vowels (a, e, i, o, u) and 22 of which are consonants (b, c, d, f, g, h, j, k, l, m, n, ñ, p, q, r, s, t, v, w, x, y, z). The letters c, h, i, j, ñ, q, u, v, w, x, and y are pronounced differently in Spanish than in English.

Spanish verbs are conjugated to agree in person and number with the subject of the sentence.
