Introduction

Quenya, also known as High-Elven, is a constructed language created by J.R.R. Tolkien for his Middle-earth legendarium. It is a complex and beautiful language, with a rich history and a vast vocabulary. This tutorial will provide a basic introduction to Quenya, covering the alphabet, pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary.

Alphabet

Quenya uses the Tengwar writing system, which consists of 36 characters. The Tengwar are divided into two groups: the Consonants and the Vowels. The Consonants are further divided into three series: the Labials, the Dentals, and the Velars.

Pronunciation
