Easy DIY Garden Fire Pit Tutorial328

Gather all your materials.

You will need:

1. Cinder blocks

2. Shovel

3. Sand

4. Gravel

5. Fire pit ring

6. Level

7. Firewood

Choose a location for your fire pit and clear the area.

The location should be away from any trees or structures. Once you have cleared the area, dig a hole that is about two feet wide and one foot deep.

Line the hole with cinder blocks.

Place the cinder blocks around the perimeter of the hole, leaving a small opening for the fire.

Fill the hole with sand.

The sand will help to insulate the fire pit and protect the cinder blocks from heat damage.

Place the fire pit ring on top of the sand.

The fire pit ring will provide a safe and contained area for the fire.

Level the fire pit ring.

Use a level to make sure that the fire pit ring is level, so that the fire will burn evenly.

Fill the fire pit ring with gravel.

The gravel will help to drain water away from the fire and prevent the fire from spreading.

Light a fire in the fire pit.

Use firewood to light a fire in the fire pit. Be sure to keep the fire small and contained.

Enjoy your fire pit!

Once the fire is burning, you can sit back and enjoy the warmth and ambiance of your new fire pit.
