Materials* 100 feet of macrame cord
* Measuring tape or ruler
* Scissors
* Small bowl
* Comb (optional)

Instructions

1. Cut eight 12-foot lengths of macrame cord and eight 6-foot lengths of macrame cord.
2. Fold each cord in half and tie a knot at the top.
3. Divide the cords into four groups of four cords each.
4. Take the two cords on the left and tie a square knot to the two cords in the middle.
5. Take the two cords on the right and tie a square knot to the two cords in the middle.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you have a chain of square knots that is about 6 inches long.
7. Repeat steps 4-6 to create three more chains of square knots.

8. Tie the four chains of square knots together at the top, using a square knot.
9. Separate the cords into two groups of eight cords each.
10. Tie a square knot to the two cords on the left and the two cords on the right.
11. Repeat step 10 until you have a chain of square knots that is about 12 inches long.

12. Repeat steps 10-11 to create another chain of square knots that is about 12 inches long.
13. Tie the two chains of square knots together at the bottom, using a square knot.
14. Take the eight cords on the left and braid them together.
15. Take the eight cords on the right and braid them together.

16. Tie the two braids together at the bottom, using a square knot.
17. Trim the excess cord from the ends of the braids.
18. Hang your plant hanger from a hook or a nail and add a plant.
