Patience

Step 1: Power Down Your Phone

Before you start, make sure to power down your phone. This will prevent any accidental damage to the phone or its components.

Step 2: Remove the Pentalobe Screws

There are two pentalobe screws located at the bottom of the phone. Use the Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove these screws.

Step 3: Apply Heat to the Screen

Use a heat gun or hair dryer to apply heat to the edges of the screen. This will help to loosen the adhesive holding the screen in place.

Step 4: Attach the Suction Cup

Place the suction cup on the bottom of the screen, just above the Home button. Pull up on the suction cup to create a small gap between the screen and the frame.

Step 5: Insert the Spudger

Insert the spudger into the gap you created with the suction cup. Gently pry up on the screen until you can insert the spudger all the way around the phone.

Step 6: Disconnect the Battery Connector

Locate the battery connector on the bottom right-hand side of the phone. Use the spudger to gently disconnect the battery connector.

Step 7: Remove the Screen

Once the battery connector is disconnected, you can remove the screen. Be careful not to damage the LCD panel or the digitizer.

Step 8: Disconnect the LCD Connector

Locate the LCD connector on the back of the screen. Use the spudger to gently disconnect the LCD connector.

Step 9: Disconnect the Digitizer Connector

Locate the digitizer connector on the back of the screen. Use the spudger to gently disconnect the digitizer connector.

Step 10: Remove the Old Screen

Once the LCD and digitizer connectors are disconnected, you can remove the old screen. Be careful not to damage the frame or the phone's components.

Step 11: Install the New Screen

Align the new screen with the frame of the phone. Carefully connect the LCD and digitizer connectors.

Step 12: Reconnect the Battery Connector

Reconnect the battery connector to the phone. Make sure that the connector is securely fastened.

Step 13: Press the Screen into Place

Press the screen into place until it is flush with the frame of the phone.

Step 14: Reinstall the Pentalobe Screws

Reinstall the two pentalobe screws at the bottom of the phone.

Step 15: Power On Your Phone

Power on your phone to test the new screen. If the screen is working properly, you have successfully replaced your iPhone 6 screen.
