First, let's take a look at the interface. The main window is divided into three main sections: the timeline, the preview window, and the editing panel.

The timeline is where you'll assemble your video clips. You can drag and drop clips into the timeline, and then use the playback controls to preview your video.

The preview window is where you'll see a preview of your video. You can use the playback controls to play, pause, and scrub through your video.

The editing panel is where you'll find all the tools you need to edit your video. You can use the tools in the editing panel to trim clips, add transitions, and add effects.

Now, let's create a new video. Click on the "File" menu and select "New Project". In the "New Project" dialog box, enter a name for your project and select a video resolution. Then, click on the "OK" button.

Now, you can start adding clips to your timeline. Click on the "Import" button and select the video clips you want to add. Once you've added your clips to the timeline, you can start editing them.

To trim a clip, click on the clip and then drag the handles at the beginning and end of the clip. To add a transition, click on the "Transitions" tab in the editing panel and then drag a transition onto the timeline.

To add an effect, click on the "Effects" tab in the editing panel and then drag an effect onto the timeline. You can use the effects in the editing panel to change the look and feel of your video.

Once you've finished editing your video, you can export it. Click on the "File" menu and select "Export". In the "Export" dialog box, select a file format for your video and then click on the "Export" button.
