How to Replace Your Phone‘s Internal Screen82

A cracked or broken internal phone screen can be a major inconvenience. While it's possible to continue using your phone with a damaged screen, it's not ideal. The cracks can make it difficult to see what's on the screen, and they can also be a safety hazard if the glass shards cut your fingers.

If you're looking to replace your phone's internal screen, there are a few things you need to know. First, you'll need to identify the model of your phone. This will help you find the correct screen replacement part. Once you have the replacement part, you can follow these steps to replace the screen:

Tools and MaterialsBefore you start, you will need the following tools and materials:
* A new internal phone screen replacement
* A Phillips #00 screwdriver
* A suction cup
* A plastic spudger
* A heat gun or hair dryer

Step 1: Power Off Your PhoneBefore you begin, power off your phone. This will prevent any accidental damage to the phone's internal components.

Step 2: Remove the Back CoverThe back cover of your phone is usually held in place by a few screws. Use the Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws, then carefully pry off the back cover.

Step 3: Disconnect the BatteryOnce the back cover is removed, you will need to disconnect the battery. The battery is usually connected to the motherboard by a small connector. Use the plastic spudger to carefully disconnect the battery.

Step 4: Heat the ScreenUse a heat gun or hair dryer to heat the edges of the screen. This will help loosen the adhesive that holds the screen in place.

Step 5: Remove the ScreenOnce the screen is heated, use the suction cup to gently lift up the edge of the screen. Be careful not to pull too hard, or you could damage the screen.

Step 6: Disconnect the ScreenOnce the screen is lifted up, you will need to disconnect it from the motherboard. The screen is usually connected to the motherboard by a few small connectors. Use the plastic spudger to carefully disconnect the connectors.

Step 7: Install the New ScreenAlign the new screen with the phone's frame and gently press it into place. Be sure to connect the new screen to the motherboard before pressing it all the way down.

Step 8: Reassemble the PhoneOnce the new screen is installed, you can reassemble the phone. Start by connecting the battery, then put the back cover back on. Finally, screw the back cover back into place.
Your phone's internal screen is now replaced!
