Materials:* Jute twine
* Scissors
* Measuring tape or ruler
* Glue gun
* Clear drying glue
* Hot glue gun

Instructions:Step 1: Measure and Cut the Twine
Measure the length of your smartphone and add approximately 1.5 inches to each side for wrapping. Cut the jute twine into six equal pieces.
Step 2: Glue the First Two Pieces
Apply a thin line of clear drying glue to the center of one end of two jute twine pieces. Line them up and press them together to form a cross shape.
Step 3: Add the Remaining Pieces
Apply glue to the center of the remaining jute twine pieces. Align them with the existing cross shape and press them down firmly. Ensure that the pieces are evenly spaced.
Step 4: Wrap the Twine Around the Base
Take one end of the jute twine and wrap it tightly around the base of the cross shape. Apply a small amount of hot glue to secure the twine in place. Repeat with the other end of the twine.
Step 5: Secure the Sides
Fold the two ends of the jute twine up towards the sides of the smartphone. Apply hot glue to the back of the twine and press it down firmly.
Step 6: Trim the Excess Twine
Trim any excess jute twine around the edges of the case.
Step 7: Attach the Twine Loop
Cut an additional piece of jute twine approximately 4 inches long. Fold it in half and tie a knot at one end. Apply a small amount of glue to the back of the knot and attach it to the top of the case for a hanging loop.
Step 8: Finish and Enjoy
Allow the glue to dry completely. Your personalized DIY jute twine phone case is now ready to use and protect your smartphone.
